Treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome ranks as one of the lowest sectors for patient satisfaction in healthcare. No area of medicine is so primed for change, and yet incidence of CTS is growing at over 10% per year. Carpal Control is a non-invasive therapy that is worn at night. Convenient to use, Carpal Control easily fits into a busy life style and begins to relieve the symptoms of CTS within days. Patients get their hands back and feel appreciative to the institutions and health professionals prescribing it.

No Rigid Splints - No Steroids – No Surgery – No Downtime

The Carpal Control has been designed from carefully selected medical grade polymers that are hypoallergenic and latex free. These comfortable polymers have the same basic elasticity found in one's skin, muscles and connective fascia tissue. This ideal flexibility allows it to work in harmony with the body's normal ability to stretch, relieving unwanted pressure and improving circulation in and around the Carpal Tunnel. Carpal Control Therapy restores the flexibility of the soft tissue around the Carpal Tunnel, increases circulation and relieves the pressure on the Median Nerve. The body returns to its natural healing process.

Carpal Control gently pulls simultaneously at three target areas on the palm surrounding the carpal tunnel during sleep. Consistent gentle pulling action applied for 8 hours while the hand is relaxed, decompresses and slowly reshapes the connective fascia tissue around the carpal tunnel.

Over the six week protocol it relieves pressure on the Median Nerve and reduces the pain and numbness that are common with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Carpal Control has been shown to increase flexibility of the soft tissue in and around the Carpal Tunnel and enhance blood circulation to the hand and wrist accelerating the normal healing process. Dr. Morgan said, "Increased nutrient rich blood circulation reinvigorates the hand naturally and helps contribute to faster healing. Better circulation allows the blood to carry away toxins from injured tissue and enhances lymphatic fluid exchange reducing swelling. At the same time, better circulation also supplies nutrients needed to speed tissue regeneration on a cell by cell basis."

Carpal Control combines this patented gentle fascia tissue reshaping protocol during sleep with active hand, wrist and forearm use during the day. This results in an ideal rhythmic therapy for rapid relief from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome symptoms which avoids muscle atrophy and down time for the patient ---Definitely, an improved first line of defense. Once hand numbness and wrist pain are relieved, the hand and forearm muscles rehabilitate through normal use. Often a hand therapist can prescribe specific exercises that will accelerate the recuperation process.

Most Patients see relief of their worst symptoms in a week or two and complete remission within the Six Week Protocol developed by Dr. Morgan working with his patients. The Carpal Tunnel Symptoms will then go away and stay away for two or three years for most patients. When the symptoms return, the patient has the peace of mind of knowing just how to control the discomfort without downtime, without risks and without the expense of surgery or injections. Carpal Control is all natural and can be used as much as needed without fear of complications. Even after surgery, Carpal Tunnel Symptoms often return in just a few years. Patients love having the peace of mind of knowing that they can control their CTS symptoms naturally and conveniently in the comfort of home.

Your Physician, Hand Therapist or Occupational Therapist can help you confirm your diagnosis and provide you with a prescription for Carpal Control as a WHF Orthosis for insurance purposes. There is a list of Physicians and Clinics available upon request that provide Carpal Control in your area. Please Contact Donna at First Hand Medical to request the physicians list for your local area.

What patients and clinicians in healthcare need is a better first line of defense to stop the progression of CTS pain and numbness before it becomes chronic. The Carpal Control is just that ---A better first line of defense in treating this debilitating syndrome.

    Testimonial

"On the Fifteenth Day of Therapy my wrists felt 'different,' like something had shifted."

I was diagnosed with moderate carpal tunnel in my right wrist in June after a nerve conduction test and though they didn't test my left wrist, I had pain but no sensations in my fingers like in my right hand. I got some braces for both hands and wore them for 4 months along with naproxen (pain reliever). I had constant pain. It even hurt when I watched TV. I couldn't find a comfortable position for my hands.

The orthopedic doctor told me that in my case the treatment was surgery. End of story. He said the cortisone injections wouldn't work in my case.

I was very hesitant to do surgery because my sister has had multiple surgeries for both wrists for carpal tunnel and she still has pain. In fact, wearing the braces elicits comments from people all the time and many people tell me not to have surgery because they did and theirs is worse because of scar tissue. One lady even told me she lost function in her little finger when the surgeon accidentally cut a nerve during surgery.

I found The Carpal Control one day when I was so frustrated and in pain that I was considering surgery despite all the negatives I had heard about it. I read every page about the Carpal Control and I was especially impressed with the award it had won for best home healthcare product of the year in 2004.

I wondered if it really would work, so I used duct tape on my hands similar to how the Carpal Control is placed. My hands felt better instantly with some of the pressure taken off my nerve. That convinced me. The duct tape was very uncomfortable, but I got the idea that the Carpal Control may really work. I ordered it immediately and received it 2 days later.

My wrists felt better immediately but my fingers were still icy and numb. Over the next few days, the pain in my wrists intensified. My fingers got icier and number. The website says that the pain may get worse before it gets better but to hang in there and that moderate carpal tunnel will probably feel better in a week or so. Mine didn't. It continued to be very painful. I was getting doubtful, but then on the 15th day, my wrists felt "different," like something had shifted. I hadn't felt that sensation in 4 months, so I took it as a ray of hope that maybe I really would get better. The ray of hope felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders.

I continued to use the Carpal Control and have been using it for 5 weeks. Two weeks ago I was able to stop using my braces!!! My pain and icy and numb fingers continues to diminish and it is almost 100% gone!!! I still wear my braces at night as a preventative so I don't curl my wrists under while I sleep. My husband says that I do that.

This product really does work. I showed it to my doctor and chiropractor who both thought it looked great. My orthopedic doctor wondered why he had never heard of it and my chiropractor said the tape positions are exactly what chiropractic recommends to open up the area. He says he is going to research the product. My orthopedic doctor wrote me a referral for it and my workers comp is paying for it.

If you doubt that it works, read the entire website (www.carpalcontrol.com) and for sure about the award it won and the medical panel that votes for the product of the year. Try it!! You have nothing to lose!! I think there is even a money back guarantee.

    Diane.
